Walking with God, Book 1Eighteen Power Scriptures to Energize Your Walk with God, was created and written by InFaith field staff, Debbie Woodard.

“My goal this year was to memorize eighteen Scripture portions during my daily walks. Meditating on the Word of God and praying while walking benefits body, soul, and spirit. My husband, Dennis, who is with the Lord, taught me that it takes twenty days to memorize a portion of Scripture. Therefore, with God’s help, I memorized a new Scripture portion every twenty days. As I memorized new verses, I continued to review the Scripture that I had memorized during previous walks. The reflections in this book are some of the lessons God taught me through these times of walking with Him.

In Romans 12:1-2 the Apostle Paul, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, urges believers to present their bodies to God as a living and holy sacrifice. In addition, believers are to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. I encourage you to energize your walk with God by memorizing Scripture that speaks to your heart as you walk. If you memorize eighteen sections of Scripture a year, beginning on January 1, you can reach your goal by Christmas!
